22-23. mail 2008 korraldavad Eesti Kirjandusmuuseumi folkloristika osakond,
Tartu tähetorni astronoomiaring ja Eesti Folkloori Instituut Tartu
tähetornis rahvusvahelise interdistsiplinaarse konverentsi "Eesti
taevas II. Aeg ja ruum", kus käsitletakse rahvaastronoomia erinevaid
valdkondi.
Teemadeks on astronoomia populariseerimine ja sellega seonduv,
tähistaevaga seotud uskumused ja varasem ajaarvamine.

On 22-23 May, 2008 the Department of Folkloristics at the Estonian Literary
Museum, the Astronomy Group at the Tartu Old Observatory, and the Estonian
Folklore Institute organise an international interdisciplinary conference
Estonian Sky, Vol. 2. Time and Space, at which different areas of folk
astronomy will be discussed. The themes will include the popularisation of
astronomy and related areas of research, beliefs associated with the
starry sky and chronology in the past.
