Camilla Asplund Ingemarki loengukursus Tartu Ülikoolis
6. aprillist kuni 14. aprillini 2015 peab külalisõppejõud Camilla Asplund Ingemark (Åbo Akademi ülikool, Soome) Tartu Ülikoolis inglisekeelse loengukursuse "Kriisi- ja katastroofinarratiivid" (Narratives of Crisis and Disaster - Cultural Approaches to the Telling of Traumatic Experiences).
1) 06.04.2015 kl 10-12 (Ülikooli 16-212): Basic concepts and their history - disaster, catastrophe, crisis; disaster research and crisis intervention. Models of responses to trauma: Acute stress reactions and postdisaster reactions, and the four stages of crisis.
2) 09.04.2015 kl 14-16 (Ülikooli 16-214): Discourses and metaphors of crisis and disaster - the cultural study of crisis and disaster. Reading: Kevin Rozario, The Culture of Calamity, chapter 2 "What Comes Up Must Go Down".
3) 10.04.2015, at 14-16 (Ülikooli 16-212): Therapeutic uses of storytelling and ritual. Reading: Kyrre Kverndokk, "Negotiating Terror, Negotiating Love".
4) 13.04.2015 kl 10-12 (Ülikooli 16-212): The narratology of crisis and disaster. Readings: Ulf Palmenfelt, "The Dark Shadow of the Un-mentioned Event", and Annikki Kaivola-Bregenhøj, "War as a Turning Point in Life".
5) 14.04.2015 kl 9-12 (Ülikooli 16-104): Workshop: 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. Reading: Diane Goldstein, "The Sounds of Silence"; Carl Lindahl, "Legends of Hurricane Katrina"; Rebecca Solnit, A Paradise Built in Hell, chapter "Mutual Aid in the Marketplace".
