The Yearbook of Balkan and Baltic Studies (YBBS) is a peer-reviewed annual English language journal for the study of humanities (incl. etnology, folklore, religiosity, and migration studies)., global relations and influences of the past events and modern developments in the area. YBBS welcomes contributions in the fields of critical and comparative analyses of cultural history. Although geographically-oriented towards the Balkan and Balticum in wider sense, to the contact and influencial relations, the journals aims is oriented to an international readership and contributors. YBBS is designed to respond to the important changes that have affected the study area but particular predominance is given to the analyses of contemporary problems, and innovative research.
