Identity and Music

Overview the media coverage on the Eurovision Song Contest in Bulgarian printed media in 2009. ESC developments in 2007-2009, the period of "Balkanization" and maybe also "de-Balkanization". The Estonian focus lies on musical tradition of Setu culture and traditional polyphony in both countries. Semi-structured interviews among the Bulgarian Estonian community will be the basis for future research work.
