Our research focuses on the role and significance of religious world view in different cultures, the dynamics of religious traditions and how the Orthodox abbeys and churches act as nodes of tradition. We pay attention to new forms religiosity takes, and the tendencies in European festive systems' evolution. The Bulgarian side investigates religious communities in Estonia (Old Believers, Orthodoxies, Protestants) in the wider European context.
