18. aprillil toimub Eesti Kirjandumuuseumis seminar vanasõnade struktuurianalüüsist
Kolmapäeval, 18. aprillil kl 12 esineb Lital Belinko-Sabah ettekandega "Interdistsiplinaarne lingvistiline folklooriteooria ja rahvapäraste vanasõnade struktuurianalüüs". Juttu tuleb Egiptuse ühiskonna eliidi väärtustest ja ideedest Vana-Egiptuse tarkusekirjanduse põhjal. Selgub, et vanasõnade grammatika, loogiline struktuur ja funktsioon korreleeruvad üksteisega.
LÜHIKOKKUVÕTE. Lital Belinko, A Structural Analysis of Demotic Proverbs Using Interdisciplinary Linguistics-Folklore Theories.
'Wisdom literature is considered to be one of the most important sources of information on ancient Egyptian civilization. These Texts provide an invaluable source of information about the values and ideas that were common amongst the Egyptian society elites. After analyzing the proverbs using structural linguistics theories and the theories of Seitel (1981), Hasan-Rokem (1982) and Grzybeck (1994), I have found an almost perfect correlation between the grammar of the proverbs, the logical structure and its function (diactic, consolation, warning etc.). In this lecture, I will show that proverbs analysis from the folkloristic point of view together with a grammar analysis can give us a deeper and more accurate understanding of the Demotic proverbs.
