Akvilė Motuzaitė

Akvilė Motuzaitė is a PhD candidate in the School of History, Culture and Arts Studies (JUNO) at the University of Turku. Her research explores the social and cultural dimensions of marriage migration. Past work has focused on contemporary traditions and social stereotypes. Her current work is focused on the cultural complexity and different contexts that challenge identities and foster search for new cultural constructions within mixed marital life and migration.
