Nijolė Pliuraitė-Andrejevienė
Nijolė Pliuraitė-Andrejevienė is a Doctor of Humanities (ethnology) and works at the Open-Air Museum of Lithuania. Her research is focused around ethnological, social and cultural aspects of traditional country children toys. She is an author of the book Lietuvos vaikų žaislai (Toys of children of Lithuania, Versus Aureus, 2012) and defended the dissertation Lithuanian children‘s toys in the late 19th to the first half of the 20th century. Her current work evolves around research of ethnographical doll created by folk artists during Soviet era.
