Guzel Stolyarova

Guzel Stolyarova is a Professor at Kazan Federal University, a Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Ethnological Research. Her research interests are connected with the study of the peoples of the Volga-Ural region - their culture, history and inter-ethnic interaction. Past work has been associated with the study of inter-ethnic marriages and nationally mixed families. Her current work focuses on the study of the ethnocultural landscape and the potential of the settlement environment. She is the author of 6 monographs, the last of which is Religious determinants of the food culture of urban Muslims (Kazan, 2018; in collaboration with S. Rychkov and N. Rychkova).
