Heldur Sander
Heldur Sander, MSc geoecology, dendrologist and historian. He has worked at the Tallinn Botanical Garden (1975–1997), the Estonian University of Life Sciences (1998–2010), and since 2011 he is retired scientist. He has published research in German, English and Estonian, including hundreds of articles on the history of the introduction of alien tree species, the history of forestry, biographies of Estonian and Baltic German botanists, the history of Estonian manor and city parks, and dendrological reviews. He has also compiled and edited professional collections of articles and made dendrological inventories.
