Dear Participant of the 14th Congress of the ISFNR,
The Organizing Committee kindly wishes to inform and remind you of the
following organizational matters:
1. If you are travelling to Tartu via Tallinn and would like
someone to meet you upon your arrival in Tallinn, please contact Marju
Kõivupuu at: kpuu@tpu.ee
In case you are coming directly to Tartu (for example by train or by bus
form Riga), please contact Mirjam Somelar at: mirr@ut.ee
2. On July 26 the Congress registration will be opened between
10.00-20.00. The address of the registration is: Ülikooli 16, room 108.
The building is located in the town centre between the Town Hall and the
main building of the University of Tartu. For entering the building,
please use the door opposite the Café Werner.
From July 27 until July 31 the working hours of the Congress bureau are
between 8.30-19.00.
During the Congress the bureau can be reached by mobile phone +372 5363

3. A free walking tour in the centre of Tartu is offered to the
Congress participants on Tuesday, July 26, at 13.00-14.30.
For the participants interested in visiting the Estonian Folklore Archives
a tour is offered on Tuesday, July 26th, at 14.30-15.30.

Dear Participant of the 14th Congress of the ISFNR,
The Organizing Committee wishes to inform and remind you of some organizational matters:
1. If you are participating with a PowerPoint-presentation, please send the presentation to priit@folklore.ee before July 22. In exceptional cases you can submit your presentation at the registration office. Please make sure you receive a positive answer form the operator. Also, we wish to remain you that you need to have a copy of the presentation with you, just in case.
2. If your presentation contains slides, please be prepared to present them at the registration desk for digitalization. There will be no slide machine available.
3. If you are bringing books for the book exhibition and/or for sale, please present them at the registration desk.
4. If you are presenting a poster, please send the text by July 22 to isfnr@folklore.ee
5. If you have special dietary needs or any food-allergies, please inform the secretary isfnr@folklore.ee before July 22.
Organizing Committee of ISFNR-14
Dear Participant of the 14th Congress of the ISFNR,
Along with the summer the 14th Congress of ISFNR is approaching. We hereby wish to inform and remind you of some organizational matters.
We thank all the participants who submitted their abstracts on time by April 15. Abstracts submitted later than June 6 can not be included in the Congress programme.
Theses of accepted presentations are published on the Congress web page as well as in the ISFNR 14th Volume of Abstracts. Since we need your permission to publish your abstract, we kindly ask you to fill in the corresponding form and to send it to us by post.
From May 20 the full registration fee is 250 Euros and the concession fee is 180 Euros. Registration fee can be paid either by credit card, bank transfer or in cash on-site.
Upon payment the registration fee form is to be filled in and sent to us. The registration fee form along with further information on payment can be found on the web page of the Congress under the title "Registration" (http://www.folklore.ee/isfnr/reg.htm).
We will announce the preliminary programme of the 14th Congress of the ISFNR by June 20. The structure of the programme, however, is already settled www.folklore.ee/isfnr/home.htm
By May 15 the choice of the one-day excursion included in the registration fee should have been made. We herewith urge participants not yet registered for a tour to make their selection on the Congress web page (http://www.folklore.ee/isfnr/tours.htm; click "Additional info about tours" for a more detailed introduction of the excursions offered).
We want to make sure that you have sent us and we have received:
1.your abstract,
2.your permission to publish your abstract
3.your wishes for technical equipment needed for your presentation.
4.your choice of tour.
For this purpose we kindly ask you to visit the web page of the Congress and to check the relevant data presented there www.folklore.ee/isfnr/contr.php
We also wish to call your attention to visa requirements. Make sure in good time whether you need a visa to enter Estonia. Adequate visa information is available on the homepage of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (http://www.vm.ee/eng/ we strongly recommend you check the link "Who do not need a visa to visit Estonia"). Please note that it is not possible to apply for a visa at a border checkpoint.
