In 1975, another, not less successful, collection expedition was conducted. We visited already familiar male singers. We also found good new informants such as Ludmilla Luht, Kristiina Maas, Juula Ling, Maria Paist, Raissa Rull, Raissa Noot, Joosep Tuust, Salme Ling, concertina player Timofei Abe and others. (On collection circumstances and purposes, Rüütel 2016: 25)
Women liked lyrical songs in waltz meter, but also sang humorus songs in the rhythm of flat footed waltz. Women sang those songs without the obscenities that were characteristic for those same songs sang by men. /---/. At the same time, we do not know if it was done only during performance for the collectors or was it the usual custom. For example, Raissa Noot, who was also performing a flat foot waltz, presents a flat foot waltz dance song /---/, in the text of which the obscenities are exchanged for words with even softer meaning. Later, she dictated the original version, adding, with laughter, that the death is on the doorstep! /---/ It can be assumed that single verses or their compilation were sang, the same way the text is in Raissa Nooda performance as well as in earlier recordings /---/. (Newer women’s songs, Rüütel 2016: 99)
