Kui läed mööda Pöide kergust,
siis sul paistab silma ergust
suur tore aga loss ja marjaaed,
kus elas vana Aaderkass.
Pennikoormad on tal piiri,
kopikad ei maksa üüri.
Kole suur ta loomakari,
kaladega Koigi järi.
Laseb aga kalad järves seista,
sa maailma randu rüista!
Passing by the Pöide church, one can see a big apple orchard and a grand castle, where its owner, Aderkas, lives. He has a lot of land, a big herd of cattle and the Koigi lake, where no one is allowed to fish.
